Alpaca My Boots is located at Blaenrheon Farm. Traditionally farmed by Nick Bishop and his family for two decades, the farm is nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, neighbouring Mynydd Illtyd Common and just three miles from the market town of Brecon. We’re only a mile from the National Park visitor centre, which offers the chance to learn more about the local area while tucking into a tasty selection of food and drinks.
With incredible views of the surrounding countryside, hills and mountains, our location is a popular tourist destination for anyone who enjoys beautiful scenery and the great outdoors. It’s also an area of historic significance: Mynydd Illtyd has evidence of Bronze Age Activity and the remnants of an Iron Age hill fort that dates back 4,000 years.
All this makes Blaenrheon Farm an ideal spot to start your adventure in the Brecon Beacons. On one of our treks, you’ll see the very best this part of Wales has to offer in the close company of its most loveable local residents: our alpacas!
